Orbit is constructed of steel wire painted in flat black, with an aluminum sheet metal ellipse painted in red, and several spheres painted in blue and caramel brown. All painted surfaces are primed and painted in durable acrylic enamel. The four elements of this mobile are connected by black line, allowing the elements to rotate independantly.

This mobile measures approximately 37 inches tall x 36 inches wide and swings around in 20" inch arc measured from the hanging point. This is a fairly large mobile that is best suited to a room with high or vaulted ceilings, or a two story foyer. However, it may fit nicely in a room with standard ceilings if you have a corner area without obstructions and traffic. When considering the size of this mobile be sure to add at least 6 additional inches to the overall height to allow for some space between the mobile and the ceiling, and allow at least 22" in all directions from the hanging point to be clear of obstructions. This mobile is not suitable for outdoor display.
